    PackSort 2.1 (02/12/91) Bug fix...

Ok, sorry everybody ! This one's my OWN fault...

I forgot to update the LASTREAD.BBS data file. So, if you used
PackSort 2.0, your users had their lastread pointers messed up each
time your run PackSort... This was a NON DESTRUCTIVE bug !!!

That was the ONLY bug found in the 2.0 release. As I write this, the
2.1 has been running for 2 months WITH 100% SATISFACTION !!! So, enjoy
this one. The next release should be 3.0.

    PackSort 2.0 (24/10/91) QuickBBS 2.75 support !

    Bug report...
A bug was found in 1.0. This bug prevented updating the COMBINED.BBS
data file. This little fellow was non destructive. All that would
happen was that, when a user got deleted from the USERS.BBS file, his
record would stay in the COMBINED.BBS file. The only side effect was
that 200 bytes of unneeded data would stay in the file. So, when you
first run 2.0, if you were using 1.0, you will notice that the updated
COMBINED.BBS file as shrunk a little. That's totally normal !
Also, if you have been using 1.0 with QBBS 2.75, the same thing has
append to your ALIAS.BBS file. Running PackSort 2.0 will take care of
    it !

    New...
    - PackSort 2.0 is for QBBS 2.75. It will update your ALIAS.BBS. Even
if you try it on 2.66, it will not run.
    - Sorting by first name has been added. You can now sort by first or
      last name.
    - You can now sort from Z to A, or from A to Z. PackSort 1.0 sorted
      only from A to Z.
    - PackSort 2.0 verboses still more, letting you know exactly what is
      going on.
    - You can now delete users whom haven't called in so many days.
    - The ascii file list of your users is now optional.
    - Just run 'PACKSORT ?' to display the built in help screen.

If you would like anymore options in PackSort, let me know via Netmail.

PackSort 1.0 (03/10/91) First public release.
