Fixes in RemoteAccess 1.11

* The browse userlist option from posting a message is
now only available if the post message optional data
field contains a /U.
* Fixed the Alt-200 security bug.
* From the menu editor, Alt-N, Esc, Esc would screw up
the display. Fixed.
* If the newuser language option was set to zero (don't
ask for language), RA would not display any choices
for the date format prompt. Fixed.
* Putting a ^K[\ at the end of a menu display line would
cause the menu editor to lock up when Alt-D was used.
Fixed.
* The menu editor would not correctly interpret a ^F; at
the end of a menu display line in the simulate menu
display. Fixed.
* A filename search would not find files which were listed
in a FILES.BBS with a wildcard in their name. Fixed.
* The language header and prompt entries in RACONFIG did
not work with macro code translation. Fixed.
* It was possible for a user to select a language flagged
as not available. Fixed.
* RA always displayed the hard-coded English date format
type when prompting the user for a date. Fixed.
* Local uploads always showed free space on drive C:, not
the upload drive.
* RACONFIG would sometimes not allow you to change the
modem comport. Fixed.
* With SNOOP mode disabled the highlighted prompt field
would occasionally be drawn to an incorrect length. Fixed.
* The menu editor would sometimes display the incorrect
menutype category for a selected menu type. Fixed.
* The select file area menu command now correctly inserts
a system pause after selecting an invalid message area.
* The type 7 *S parameter now works correctly as part of
a type 15's optional data field.
* RA now waits correctly for the GOODBYE.A?? file to be
displayed before terminating the call.
* RA now allows a user to enter a file template area if
he/she has upload OR download OR list security for that
area.
* Changing the colour of language prompts which are
underlined (eg. "You have mail waiting:") caused the
underlines to be the wrong length. Fixed.
* RA would not look for TOP.MNU in the default menu
directory when returning from a "missing menu" error.
Fixed.
* RA would not display a warning message if a new user
entered a password which was too short. Fixed.
* Increased the upload/download batch size to 150 files.
* Fixed some cosmetic problems in RACONFIG.
* RA would always show the English date default name when
the user's date format was set to 'DD-Mmm-YY' instead
of the current language date name. Fixed.
* RA would not correctly 'page pause' when viewing a textfile
from a questionnaire. Fixed.
* RA would accept a blank filename on a non-batch upload.
Fixed.
* RA would sometimes read the incorrect language after
returning from a type 15 exit to DOS. Fixed.
* RA no longer moves the cursor to the end of the line and
back again at the "read messages" prompt.
* The "more" prompt is disabled while marking messages.
* Fixed a problem with DOS pathname resolution which sometimes
caused RACONFIG to create the *.RA files in the current
directory instead of the system directory.
* The message forwarding prompt no longer asks the user to
browse the userlist if a blank name is entered.
* Changing a user's language via Alt-E now takes effect
immediately.
* RA no longer allows a user to forward mail to him/herself.
* A userlist search with the /H handle option enabled now
searches on handle names, not user names.
* RA would not show either MAILHELP.A?? or XFERHELP.A?? if
they did not exist in the current language textfile
directory.
* The ONCEONLY file would only be shown if it was in the
language text path, not the system text path. Fixed.
* RA would not append an origin line to messages entered
with the internal editor that were 60 lines long. Fixed.
* The RACONFIG language editor would not edit LANGUAGE.RA
in the current directory - only in the system directory.
Fixed.
* RA now correctly translates menu colours in mono mode
on the local console.
* Users are no longer permitted to select someone else's
real name as a handle.
* The Stop key (defined in the language file) now correctly
works to abort a message quickscan.
* RA would not correctly update lastread pointers if a user
disconnected while reading messages. Fixed.
* RA would hang if a user received more than one page of
messages at the mailbox check, and he/she said "No" to the
continue prompt. Fixed.
* The compact log header would show the day of week in the
current user's selected language instead of English. Fixed.
* Fixed some really screwed up pathname resolution code which
did not work under Novell Netware.
* New users are no longer placed in file/msgarea 254 by
default.
* If a user had the DELETED flag set in his/her record, he/she
would be treated as a new user for every subsequent logon
until the userfile was packed. Fixed.
* The "change screen length" menu command now defaults to 24
lines if the user hits (Enter) at the prompt.
* The "you must enter both your first and last names!" message
was not language-configurable (for some unknown reason).
Fixed. It's now in prompt #227.
* Changed semaphore handling so that the RAREADY file is
created *before* modem initialisation instead of after.
* Fixed a problem which was causing the newuser questionnaire
to occasionally not be executed.
* Improved the ANSI auto-detect handling. I have never been
able to duplicate the lockups some people were experiencing
but hopefully this will resolve the issue.
* RA would not take the modem off-hook if terminated by a
RAXIT sempahore at the wait for call screen. Fixed.
* Fixed a cosmetic problem which would occur if the sysop
broke in for a chat while the user was reading messages
with the full-screen message reader.
* RA handled overlength IEMSI fields unpredictably. Fixed.
* RA would hang on a fast-logon if the user-file was empty.
Fixed.
* If a new user hit ENTER at the date format selection
prompt, the birthdate prompt input format would be displayed
incorrectly. Fixed.
* Added support for detection and time-slicing under Windows 3
enhanced mode.
* The ^FU textfile code works correctly now.
* Fixed the overlay handling so that RA.OVR is opened in
NOINHERIT mode.
* RA would lock up on a file list display if the description
consisted of one word which wrapped at the end of the line.
Fixed.
* "Wait for call" mode is now less CPU-intensive.
* A combined selected read did not correctly honour the actual
combined mode settings. Fixed.
* The "list files", "view archive" and "directory list" menu
commands now obey file template list security settings.
* Setting the download start and end times now correctly enables
downloads at all times.
* Deleted users are no longer displayed in a userlist.
