ULTRABBS REGISTRATION PRICING INFORMATION
UltraBBS is distributed under the Shareware concept. This means that
it may be distributed in an unregistered form freely. However, if you
try the software for a reasonable amount of time (60 days) and continue
to use it, you are expected to register your copy. With the
registration of UltraBBS, you will receive a special serial number in
the mail which can be applied to an unregistered copy. The serial
number will remove the unregistered message and place your name (or
corporation name and number of nodes registered for--see below) in the
log on screen. Registration also entitles you to priority support on
the UltraBBS test sites (see CONTACT.TXT) and specific attention to
your requests and future needs.
UltraBBS registration for private individuals is a $75 per-BBS, one-
time fee.
For corporation and government use, the required registration is a $90
initial licensing fee for the first node in the system, and $50 for
each node thereafter. Each node above node 30 requires no additional
licensing fee (total licensing fee should not exceed $1540). The
number of nodes for which you are licensed will appear in the log on
screen along with your corporation name. If you wish to register for
more nodes at a later time, simply send in a new order form with $50
for each new node you wish to register for. In this case, be sure to
make a note of this on the order form so that we may check our previous
records and send you a serial number with the correct number of nodes
you are registered for.
