Installling the new CARD GUPPIES is easy. Just copy all of the
files to the current CARD GUPPIES directory. Run your bbs batch
file to bring up tbbs. Log onto your system and run GUPED the
CARD GUPPIES editor. This will set up the database files.

CARD GUPPIES also has a new feature that you will see made a part
of many new TDBS programs. The program SET_TDBS will let a user
set ANSI and IBM Graphics for use in TDBS program without having
to have ANSI and IBM Graphics set in the userlog. This lets the
user turn off those slow ANSI TBBS menus and have ANSI on for
CARD GUPPIES and other TDBS programs.

To set up SET_TDBS, copy the SET_TDBS files to you hard disk and
set up a type 200 to call SET_TDBS.

If you don't want to put SET_TDBS in the same directory as CARD
GUPPIES, you may tell CARD GUPPIES where SET_TDBS is located by
using the /set option when calling CARD GUPPIES. The following is
an example of what to do:

KEY=A TYPE=200 OPT DATA=C:\GAME\GUPPIES/Q && /SETC:\TDBS\SET_TDBS

This tells CARD GUPPIES to look in the C:\TDBS directory to the
SET_TDBS database, which is where the users ANSI and IBM Graphics
flags are kept.
