% introduction and like stuff (ack)
welcome to demonic productionz' third pack! 05/97! this has been
a pretty good 2 months, this we've gotten some ground breaking mods
and doors, and alot of them, also alot of new members and dis sites
anyways, hang back, relax, and get DEMONIC...
wow, we were alittle late again this month, we missed it by a week,
just waiting for the for mods from a few people, we didn't get to
many of the ones we were waiting on, but who cares.. ;) there's
always next pack.
also we've adapted a new policy, we will be supporting seperate
releases too big to but in the pack (bbs softs, misc programs, bbs
setups, ect) these releases will be availible from our dist sites
and our ftp...
i'll make this part nice and short, the orgin of demonic. being
genuinly fed up with modding after the deaths of just about all my
old affils (tric, fsw, px, ts, sin, ta) i decided to take up my
own group (well, it was a nifty idea at the time) so i decided to
draft some of my friends from previous groups, i mean, people i
knew farily well and liked the work of. at first i didn't get much
support, but eventually (ie after the death of most of their
groups and having nothing better to do) we all got together, the
final step in my grand scheme was to actually set a release date
and then pester the hell out of them for their work (this worked
fairly well in most cases) a few odd members joined (i don't know
where they came from but i'm not complaining) and here we are.

senior members! i've decided to move natedogg up to the position
of vice president, being the chum he is, and impressing me latly
his modding/coding and his views on group organization, he doesn't
know it yet, infact noone does.. but.. well.. hey. i instantly
assigned voivode the task of illusion head on his arrivial (for
obvious reasons) all other senior re-assignments are noted in the
members list.
producing members?! damn! dark enity finally got his ass around to
making a mod, infact.. 2 releases this month! just playing, he's
been busy with alot of other shit this month, like apathy ascii
editor and being cia ascii head! natedogg released an rather large
amount of material this month, and it's really fucking good ;)
new members.. well, we've had alot of arrivials this month.. lets
see, forgive me if anyone is missing.. but it's a bitch ;) lets see
johnny mnemonic joins our illusion modding divsion, as well as
voivode, who also joins are coding division with his release of
demonic!view. spin joins are door coding division, chrom joins are
ever growing pcboard division, tryzix joins for iniquity, iceman
applys as a coder, and spos joins as an artist and modder, i think
thats it.. (but it seems doubtful.. )
leaving members.. black candel was dropped for inactivity and for
another group, meneluas drops for lack of time, technobrat quits
because we made fun of him alot ;) and lack of time.. and wow, i
think that is it..
guests and stuff.. special thanks to max headroom (tric) for hangin
with us, running the bots, etc and his enlightening chit chat, also
tzeentch for the nice diz, and mhz for the mod list header!

Why illness sucks...
Now, I don't want to say it's exactly right to go around bashing
other groups, but illness is a giant load of crap.
Their original packs are a legend, really good renegade and
oblivion modding and coding, mixed with some of the best art out
there, (best ever in some people's eyes) they released quite a few
packs and I definitly consider them as one of the founding and best
modding groups ever and so do many other modders, so illness's
record, respect, and therfore their reputation proceeds them.
Now, illness tried to come pack in 1996, every modder in exsistance
seemed to jump on the bandwagon, or at least wanted to. Even people
from the art scene, who had either never modded for a group before
or simply don't mod. they released a pack, which I, personally,
consider to be crap.. simply a collection of older mods and doors
which, a few of them, had been updated. I don't know exactly why
why never released again after that, but I don't really consider
this little "reunion" to be part of their record...
So after that, all these good coders and modders and artists
crawled back into their littles holes, or art groups, or whatever
else they were doing previously and hid...
Until Illness decided to start again.. again! Again? I thought the
last time was bad enough, but.. so now all these modders crawl back
from they're shells and rejoin, now.. these people totally stopped
modding until illness came back, what crap! specially when they
brag about how Illness is the shit and every other group sucks..
It's just a matter of "if I want to release, I want to release in
the group with a brand name like Illness" What are you guys
turning into? Artists!?! If you're modding for the fame of it, go
join Acidic or something...
So, I could gone on about that for a few more pages. :) So, Illness
decided to pop back up about the same time I started Demonic
Productionz, I was pretty fearing of what they had to offer, but
after the first month, they didn't release.. then the second month,
nope.. then we put together the first dem pack and I was startled
with the notion that illness might release too and blow us away,
but nope and still nothing.. I've heard rumors of leaders changing,
the group had to take a few months to reorganize, etc..
crap..
Hell, I've even heard that Illness never even died, they were just
on vacation for two years, yeah right, think about it.. how can you
take a group that has been gone for 2 years seriously? People
thought tric was dead after a few months.. the thing is, the
illness label is so big, and so bloated, people just worship it
wheather it releases or not. well you should have let it DIE
peacefully, but if you think you're game, bring it on Illness,
we're all ready, all of us modding groups, and you don't have ld to
help you now...
