% introduction and like stuff (ack)
welcome to demonic productionz' fith pack, 11/97, yawn, so
it's been four months, hah, hope you enjoyed being without us, yeah
we took the two months that school tends to start killing us
on (8/9) off, so i guess we're kinda on time (?). but anyways, this
is just your average pack, alot of slacking latly from all of us,
so nothing eventful released.
wow, we were alittle late again this month, (i love starting every
pack with this..) but because of our vacation it took awhile to get
our asses in gear and start doing good work again, anyways, once we
did i still hadn't decided on a release date, and when i did, dark
entity managed to delay it by another 4 days... again.. but he did
release so i can't lay it on him to hard. anyways, we're just a few
days off our release date, so who cares.. we're here, go check the
release...
another new policy in effect, this time concerning members, yes, it
has been decided that all non-releasers will be kicked, you must
release the pack of the pack after you were accepted and you must
continue to release at least everyother pack. seniors can avoid
this if they stay in contact with me, but we've already got a few
in the grey. so, effective next pack, anyone in dark grey on the
meberlist must release or be kicked, no matter who you are.
hopefully this will clear the way for the large amount of
reorganizing natedogg and i are doing.
our ftp site was recently cleared of the bbs softwares, hopefully
we'll have an even bigger and more active ftp site once i get a few
things together. for now though, releases and source are still
available there.
our seperate release policy is still, as always in effect, seperate
releases too big to but in the pack (bbs softs, misc programs, bbs
setups, ect) are availible from our dist sites and our ftp...
i'll make this part nice and short, the orgin of demonic. being
genuinly fed up with modding after the deaths of just about all my
old affils (tric, fsw, px, ts, sin, ta) i decided to take up my
own group (well, it was a nifty idea at the time) so i decided to
draft some of my friends from previous groups, i mean, people i
knew farily well and liked the work of. at first i didn't get much
support, but eventually (ie: after the death of most of their
groups and having nothing better to do) we all got together, the
final step in my grand scheme was to actually set a release date
and then pester the hell out of them for their work (this worked
fairly well in most cases) a few odd members joined (i don't know
where they came from but i'm not complaining) and here we are.
that wasn't short damnit...

senior members... menelaus has rejoined us and moved up to rg head
simply because he rocks, jandor has joined us and moved up to obv/2
head. defcon4 was dropped due to inactivity and lack of time, and
chrom replaced him as pcboard head. we have several slots open now
if you're interested please apply, members get first pick though.
work this month... things to check out this pack, natedogg's
xdoor door kit, version 2.00, a few bugfixes, etc. my check ipx for
iniquity's source code, which should be a good treat for some of
you, no names mentioned though. alot of other source code and doors
even some itc and pcb shit this month, so go take a look.
new members.. menealus of course joined, as i already mentiond, as
well as jandor, who will be doing obv/2 and wwiv stuff, also morb1d
was drafted into releasing some crap for us, and dischord joins our
pcboard department. smoke and keetar join to do alittle art for us,
gehenna joins to mod rg, and kers joins to mod instinct for us.
leaving members.. man666son (iceman) our code head last pack quit
due to a problem with us and a general lack of time, sonicboom and
spasm are both going on idle for awhile. tryzix and jm were dropped
due to inactivity.
guests and stuff.. not really any this pack, but what's it matter,
we kept mhz's file.lst header, and filth's good old nfo header for
this pack, diz by keetar.
joining. to apply simply fill out the enclosed dem-app.exe and
send us yourinitials-app.txt and some work. we ARE currently
excepting applications for distros and couriers. (though i am
starting to lose track of them) if you would like to guest with us
