a few new ideas. And the rest of the beta team for giving outstanding
    performace.....

       ────══[ Quick Upgrade/Installation ]══────

∙(1) Copy the ADDNET.EXE over your old version of Addnet.

∙(2) Then from the Dos prompt type ADDNET /SETUP

∙(3) This will inform you that ADDnet has not found its data file in
the current directory.	And it will ask you if you wish to create a
new one. Type Y and hit Enter.

∙(4) ADDnet will then create a NEW datafile in the Current Directory
(ADDNET.DAT). ADDnet will create the system configuration record
and assign previously chosen defaults and then display the current
System Configuration. Hit enter and then Select Y so that you may
change the options to your specific system requirements.

∙(5) The program will ask for the path to T.A.G.'s USER.LST file (the
user list). Please enter the correct path using a trailing
backslash to finish the path off. <Do not include quotes>

	   Ex:	F:\BBS\DFILES\

∙(6) Then the system will ask for a path & File name of the log file in
which to find the required information for ADDnet to complete its
	job. Ex: C:\FD\FD.LOG

∙(7) Then it will ask to select a mailer type. Either select Front Door
or Binkley Term. Other mailer types are not yet supported.

∙(8) Enter an integer from 1 to 5.	Recommended is 2. This controls how
far from the end of the logfile ADDnet will start searching. 1
being the fastest, but unreliable as some connections will take
more than 1024 Bytes of log information.

∙(9) This is the User Defined Colors, for Quick Installation and the
default colors (the colors that ADDnet v202a already uses) Type in
	9, 5, 4, and 4.

∙(10) If you desire to add the results of Addnet to New Log callers log
then simply figure out the best combination of colors for ADDnet to
	use. Defaults are: 9, 4, 3, 5, 9.

∙(11) ADDnet will then display your NEW updated information. Hit enter
ADDnet will take you to the main setup menu. Select A for Add a
	Node.

∙(12) It will then tell you that you have 0 node records on file and if
you wish to add another. Select Y for yes and continue.

∙(13) Enter the Path with a trailing backslash of the LASTON.DAT file
you wish to modify. Ex: F:\BBS\DFILES\

∙(14) Enter the path and file name of your Callers Log file that you
wish ADDnet to modify.	This Callers Log must be New Log Compatible
because that is the only support that ADDnet currently designed
	for. Ex: F:\BBS\AFILES\CALL_LOG.MSG
<If you wish Not to use this feature just Hit Enter>

∙(15) If you wish to use the above feature then at this question answer
Y for yes and ADDnet will add its results to your New Log Callers
logfile. Enter N for no if you do not wish to invoke this feature.

∙(16) Enter your Mailers setup program or Configuration file. You must
change the log output so that ADDnet can correctly read it.

   ────══[ Front Door ]══──── ────══[ Binkley Term ]══────
+	Breif Messages * Session Information
     ~	Session Information : System's AKA's
     ~	Remote Systems AKA's : System's Information
~	Remote Systems Info # Modem Responses
     =	Modem Responses

If you don't want to add to the Callers Log then Remote Systems
info or Modem responses are NOT REQUIRED. But the above
specifications are required for the program full operation if you
plan to add to the the NewLog Callers log and the LastOn.Dat file.

      ────══[ New Installation Proceedure ]══────

To install a new copy of ADDnet, first, Edit your batch file
that runs your mailer program and processing incomming echomail.

In that Batchfile you will 1) replace the line that runs NewLog to
add the Incomming Network Mail Event message in your Newlog Log file.
(that is if you run Newlog)

If you don't run newlog. After your mail tosser runs insert a line
	that reads:

	ADDNET.EXE

Make sure you are in the correct directory before trying to run
ADDnet otherwise you might recieve a Bad Command or Filename from
	the Operating system.

Then Simply follow the Quick upgrade proceedure.

      ────══[ Programmer's Notes ]══────

If you have two nodes then add another node to the Data file.

ADDnet will not add to the New Log callers logfile if it cannot
find all the correct information in the logfile. But it will
	continue. (Non Fatal Error)

If you have the New Log callers logfile defined in more than One
node record and have ADDnet add to the Callers log on both defined
nodes.	ADDnet will do just that and will process Duplicate lines.

────══[ Addendum ]══────

To Make ADDnet use the LASTCALL.FD file (for front door systems
only) then when calling ADDnet from your mailers batchfile then instead
  of just calling ADDNET.EXE call ADDNET.EXE /FD:<Drive>:\<Dir to fname>\

WhereAS /FD:C:\FD\ tells addnet to look for the LASTCALL.FD file
in your C:\FD directory. Please make a note YOU MUST INCLUDE trailing
  backslash for this filename.

If you run Front Door, and you donot wish to add to the callers log
you do not need to read the logfile as all the information that ADDnet
needs is in the LASTCALL.FD file in your front door systems directory.
Edit your ADDnet system's configuration and when ADDnet asks for a Path &
Name for a logfile, press <Enter> and leave the option blank. This option
gives ADDnet maximum performance.

If you have ANY problems please contact the author, Keith Geffert,
