There are four MTA packages:

MTA_Vxxx.nnn This is the normal package, containing the programs and
all suplemental files (utilities, documentation);
MTADVxxx.nnn This is a subset of MTA_Vxxx.nnn and ONLY contains all
related documention that can ALSO be found in the
MTA_Vxxx.nnn package (this file is sometimes distributed
on diskette);
MTAEVxxx.nnn This is a subset of MTA_Vxxx.nnn and ONLY contains all
executable files that can ALSO be found in the original
MTA_Vxxx.nnn package (this file is sometimes distributed
on diskette);

MTA_OVxxx.nnn This is the package that contains MTAOVR.EXE and the
overlay (MTAOVR.OVR). There are no further files inside
this package. It has been separated from the original
release because non-BBS users won't use the overlayed
version (in general) and to keep the package as small
as possible;
