+ Deleting unwanted files by their CRC is available now in the
unregistered version, too.
! Random adds will only be added to archives in the registered version of
SKC.
+ Unregistered version will delete random adds now, too. But it will only
do the first 3 entries in the UNWRAND.SKC. This was done to make this
feature testable. You should add your own random add first, in order to
get it out of the archive before adding a new one !
+ SKCSETUP: If an input line is not available it will be dark gray.
+ Cresting of SKCDONE etc can be switched of in the mixed options.
+ SKC will change AV archives, if this will not destroy the envelope (ZIP
banner). You may switch of this in the check options.
+ Exec with Enter now switchable. Needed for DESQview sysops.
+ Exec with Enter will try first to use KSTACK of 4DOS. This will make
keystuffing available for tools, clearing the keyboard buffer.
+ Rose's VirScan added to VIRUSCAN.SKC.
- If a file was detected as dupe it was shown as bad in the infoscreen and
added to SKCBAD.<Node>
- Readed CONFIG.RA in not RA modes, too, if found. If it was an old (RA1)
file, SKC crashed.
- SKCTOOL CRCIMP had a little bug resulting big problems. Only 50% of the
adds were realy added to the database. :-/

! Completed the translation of the english helpfiles and documents. Thanks
to Conrad Justus Köhler for doing a big part of the helpfiles !
SKC will now be delivered in english language, the german add ons will
be delivered seperately.
+ SKCTOOL writes a logfile now. It is called SKCTOOL.LOG and will be found
in the directory of SKCTOOL.
+ SKC will try to delete it's SKCBUSY even after crashes.
+ SKC will ignore and don't create SKCBUSY if the multiline check is
switched off.
+ PB2: SKC will search for the environment variable PB if PROBOARD was not
found.
+ If a dupetest is configured all checked files will be added to the
dupebase, even if no /DUP was specified. But only with the /DUP
parameter dupes will be rejected.
+ "Use" swithc implemented for the EXE extractors.
+ Parameter /OLD- will disable old check completely.
+ PTHROUGH.SKC now supports the wildcard ?. This is for making SKC able to
delete pt's like

+ Is able now to add random adds itself to archives. The template for it
uses the same macros as the banner template.
+ If SKC has to add more then one file to the archive and the compressor
is configured for supporting listfiles, SKC will add these files in one
call to the compressor. Before the FILE_ID.DIZ, RandomAdd and the Insert
were added one by one. This should make SKC a little faster again.
+ Macro @FILE_ID.DIZ may be used indented.
+ If no FILE_ID.DIZ was found in the archive SKC will fill the macro
@FILE_ID.DIZ with the user/filebase description.
+ New macro @SKCVERSION for banner and random add.
+ New ctl file: CTL\IGNORE.SKC. Files in that file will be ignored
completely by SKC, they won't be tested. Wildcards are allowed.
+ Fills the keyboard buffer with an Enter in order to prevent the called
compressors from asking for input.
+ RA2: While creating a DIZ from the filebase description the #FF (Replace
space) will be replaced with spaces again. SKC will also change all #FF
in DIZ files to spaces in order to prevent them to be filtered by the
highbit filter.
- Some big crashes on some systems found. I hope, I have fixed these
problems now.
- In some environments SKC was unable to delete it's SKCBUSY.
- RA25: If the area ordering was changed, SKCSETUP crashed while tagging
the areas.
- RA25: If the area index was bigger then the count of areas, it was not
possible to tag these areas for base checking.
- RA: If the upload area differed from the actual area of the uploader,
SKC was adding uploads to the wrong area.
- SKCSETUP will count areas now from 1 on instead of 0.
- SKC won't try to delete OS/2 HPFS VolumeIDs.
- Passthrougs with colorcodes were deleted from DIZ but imported into the
filebase if a color filter was enabled.
- If ESC was pressed during tests, the actual file was deleted from
FILES.SKC, even if the actual file was not tested but only displayed.
- Get in troubles while adding JPG/GIF/MOD.. descriptions to FILES.BBS
with download counters.
- In some cases the macro @FILE_ID.DIZ wasn't translated at all.
- If SKC get in troubles while processing the VENDINFO.DIZ file, it
crashes.
- Improved the the way SKC will change TIC's and FLO's while other tools
are processing the outbound.
- Verify Arc did the opposite of knowing from archives, if MOD/GIF,JPG..
files were tested.
- If an area file was given without extension (/ARE) SKC and SKCSETUP
crashed in some cases.
