To upgrade your TranScan v5.05 to v5.09 (or from v5.06 to v5.07,
etc.) simply copy the PATCH.EXE and PATCH.RTP files to the directory
where TS5.EXE is located. To upgrade an earlier version of TranScan
v5.00, v5.01, v5.02, v5.03, or v5.04 to v5.09 you will first need to
apply the TranScan v5.05 or v5.06 patch (see TSCN505.ZIP or
TSCN506.ZIP).
Then run PATCH.EXE and it will make changes to your TS5.EXE, TS5.OVR,
TS5.HLP files, etc.
You should run TS5.EXE after applying the patch. It will then make
any necessary changes needed to your TS5.CFG file.
Read the WHATSNEW.508 file for a complete list of fixes and changes.
This patch may be distributed on your BBS. It will only work with
TranScan v5.+.
