Quickscan will show you the headers of all messages in the range you specify. Quickscan will work from both the main menu or from within a base.
The message header contains the following information:
1. Message number
2. Date/time message was posted
3. User who posted it
4. Title.
QA will quick-scan ALL new messages on ALL bases. Q# will quickscan the new messages on the base (or bases) you specify. Q1,4,6 will quickscan the new messages on bases 1, 4, and 6.
QS will quick-scan new messages on the bases you have selected. (See the Base Selection option in BASES help.)
