well well well... i never thought this would actually happen.. but here
we go.. WELCOME BACK CREAM!
when cream died back in o695 i thought that was the end of the group
i started back in o395 and no one would even remember us. but here we are,
just 1 year later and we are back.
cream is back with it's 3 original founders: me (daize), who was under
the nick nirvana back then and ellipsis, who was under the nick jell0 back then.i would like to take this time to re-invite all the old cream members to get in touch with these two people if you are still interested in being a part of us.
all original members will be considered for positions before new members
(although i have only seen like 3 or 4). here are a few things that have changedabout cream since the ol'days:
1) there are NO distro sites availible. with irc growing stronger each day
there is almost no need for a distro site. please don't ask.
2) my original plan with the new cream was to have cream members be in cream
only and no other modding group (i.e. fsw, soi, purg, acidic, etc.) but in
light of a few people that i have met, i have to take this back. cream would
really miss out on good talent due to compitition.
wow.. now that thats over.. lets get to the heart of cream...
...the members themselves
returning to cream (to date) are smiley (smiley was added to cream rightbefore cream died), and warden. all who have shown off their talents in past
cream paks. (i encourage you all to download the older paks to see what cream
was about before)
and now.. our new members... blazemore (art), ironghost (art),
nosferatu (mods/art) (not the same nosferatu from the old cream), exulted
(mods), dark shadow (mods), mort (art), raw toxic (mods), rm (mods).
expect to see some cool shit from these guys, most of which run
and mod their own boards.
in weeks to come i will start breaking cream up into different
divisions. (i.e. renegade, obv/2, liquid, etc) and be selecting heads to each
department. i will select the heads on their skills as modders and on how well
they set their mods up. remember.. this is just the member listings to date:
5/9/96 8:45pm pacfic time. every few days i'll lup date this .nfo file untill
we release.
in closing i would like to invite bbs sysops who think that they can
really mod the shit outta their software of choice to give cream a thought.
and if you're a doodleboy.. then think about this.. everyone who logs on a
board using a cream mod will see your ansi's/ascii's. (cream is in need if
pic and font artists of both ansi and ascii.) to find cream seinors just
go on irc and try either #ansi, #cream, or #scene even. greetz go out to
kal, for the rad logo up top even tho he lost about 10 unrelease artworks and
nearly bailed from the scene.. thanks for not going. remorse, man... get #ansi
